Master's degree

 

At the Master´s degrees, students can specialise in different fields:

 

• Master in Language and Professional Uses

This programme is divided into three specialities: Galician, Spanish and English. It trains professionals with high linguistic and problem solving capabilities in different multidisciplinary contexts, professionals who know and work with specific languages. Students will acquire advanced technical and communication skills and expertise in the creation of content for a range of platforms, in information management and new media technology. This master is intended for students who want to become experts on the virtual environment and the new technologies, who want to know how to sort out and organise information and how to create contents for any means or format. Professional work experience as part of the course complements the student's academic studies, allowing them to put into practice the training acquired in the courses.

 

• Master in Literature, Culture and Diversity

This programme focuses on the renewal of cultural, literary and arts studies by means of new theoretical paradigms and new methodological perspectives combined with well-established traditional views. Comparative and interdisciplinary approaches to literary and cultural studies form the basis of this Master's degree, which also offers three modules of specialities in the Anglophone, Hispanic and Galician-Portuguese world.

 

• Master in Linguistics and its Applications

This programme is offered in collaboration with the University of Vigo.
