Free choice credit recognition and inclusion in the student´s record
- Students can obtain free choice credit recognition for courses and training activities included in the free choice offer for the academic year, as well as for the rest of courses or activities laid down in chapter III of the free choice Regulations and the ensuing Syllabus Committee's agreements that set them out .
- Those courses or academic activities approved by the Syllabus Committee will be included in the free choice offer for two academic years after their approval.
- The applications for the inclusion of free choice credits in the student's record must be submitted directly to the centres within the deadline set during the enrolment period. The student must provide a certificate proving the completion of the course or activity.
- In order to obtain the free choice credit recognition for courses taken at other universities (including summer courses) the certificate must state the number of credits recognised by the university of origin. without affecting the credits that will be recognised by the UDC.
- As an exception, free choice credits will be included in the student's record after the deadline set for this purpose, when the students are finishing their degree or the first cycle programme, or when they apply for transfer to another university.
- The free choice credits of all the activities envisaged in chapter III of the free choice Regulations will appear on the student's record as recognised credits, without marks.
- The fee for including the recognised free choice credits in the student's record will be that one set for validations by the Department of Education and University Regulation of the Xunta de Galicia in the Decree on public fees.
