The Neuroscience and Motor Control Group of the University of A Coruña is devoted to the study of the nervous system function. Their members belong to the Department of Medicine, collaborate with INEF Galicia and develop teaching in some centers of the University. SCIENTIFIC COFFEES-THEATRES The aim of these events is to convey the different aspects of scientific knowledge in general, in a simple and entertaining way, as well as presenting different fields of research which are currently being developed in Galicia. These educational performances are offered by two scientists and an actor in bars and cafés across Galicia, the idea being to involve the whole audience to participate in the performance. VI ATLANTIC MEETINGS OF NEUROSCIENCEThe Atlantic Meetings of Neuroscience are a scientific conference sing that will gather together, for three days, out-standing researchers in the study of the nervous system close to a pupils' selection of doctorate. The aim of this advanced seminar is the discussion and exchange of ideas brings over of questions of current importance in the investigation in Neuroscience. |

NEUROSCIENCE SHORT-CIRCUITS After its first highly successful year, the neuroscience short-circuit events return to schools. This activity is aimed at eight and nine-year-olds. By means of neuroscientific workshops we bring the fascinating and complex nervous system closer to children.
