OBJECTIVES FORMATION OF PERSONNEL In a short term we will continue developing monographic courses in collaboration with the Geological Laboratory of Laxe, in different specialities: Petrology, Sedimentology, Paleontology, Geomorphology, Hidrology together with other topics such as the evaluation of physic environment, the study of the environmental impact produced by public works, minery and the regeneration of degradated soils, with a marked multidisciplinary character that exists with a vast experience in the initial group of work. In a medium term, the educational offer will be completed with a Master’s Degree and a PHD programme that will go together with our programme of Study and Evaluation of the Physical Environment which will take place in function of the increase of the teaching and investigation personnel belonging to the Institute. In the long term our educational offer could be completed with the creation of a degree in Geological Sciences with a base in the University of Coruña.
