General Information

The English Department of UDC is located in the Facultad de Filología (Campus de Elviña, s/n) in A Coruña and it has some 35 lecturers, researchers and professors. The members of the department teach in different centres of the University, both in the campus of A Coruña and that of Ferrol. This means that it is one of the departments of the University with the highest number of students (and they belong to different areas).

The Department has been offering different PhD Programmes since 1995. The Programme offered at present has obtained a special mention due to its quality by the Spanish Ministry of Education. Read more.

The interests of the members of the Department are diverse as well as the subjects they teach (see each of them for further information). Research is organised in different research groups.
