Holy
María of Pastoriza.
Although the most important interventions accomplished on the church of Santa María of Pastoriza date back to the XVIIth century, in the interior, there are elements that indicate a previous origin, around the XIIIth century, or even earlier. It is a sanctuary of great devotion. A popular pilgrimage in honor of the Virgin is celebrated in October.
From the architectural point
of view, the shrine consists of a single nave with two chapels located
on the sides. The facade is structured in two independent bodies that end
in a belfry, all adorned with classic motives. In its interior, the main
altar consists of a baroque altarpiece, with Solomonic columns decorated
with vegetal motives.
