The Institute of Health Science is a centre which is primarily dedicated to scientific and technical research, postgraduate teaching and technical advice, within the single area of specialisation in health science.
It functions conceptually as a catalyst and driving force for research activities within the field of health science, promoting, encouraging and co-ordinating such activities whenever necessary. The Institute also encourages inter-disciplinary research because the research in this field requires a large amount of multi-disciplinary experience, including a wide variety of disciplines within the spectrum of the biomedical sciences.
